Our Zoo family has grown! After much anticipation, Iggy our Grevy’s zebra gave birth to a healthy male foal on August 4. 

Our scimitar-horned oryxes are this month’s Meet the Animal stars! These animals are desert-dwellers native to North Africa. Their namesake comes from the special shape of their horns, the thin and curved keratin resembling a scimitar sword.

We’ve welcomed a new female ostrich to our Expedition Africa loop. Linda is now calling our Zoo home, and she will be joining our resident male ostrich, Little Foot.

Shell yeah! We have four new radiated tortoises to introduce you to!  

Meet Aurora, a 1-year-old Masai giraffe who recently joined our herd!
